Warszawska grupa po wieloletniej przerwie przygotowała nowy materiał. Grupa pozostała wierna swoim muzycznym fascynacjom. W rozwiniętej formie powraca tutaj wiele pomysłów, które pojawiły się na premierowym albumie. Mocno zrytmizowane utwory kojarzące się momentami z dance-metalem Rammstein są kontynuacją tego, co Omni stworzyło zanim niemiecka supergrupa zaczęła podbijać świat. Znajdziemy tutaj też kompozycję ozdobioną kobiecym operowym głosem, który doskonale wpisuje się w estetykę płyty. 'Mermaids' to album momentami mroczny i nastrojowy, jednak jak zwykle w przypadku twórczości Omni, przepełniony ogromną energią.
