Początków zespołu należy doszukiwać się w zespole który powstał 13 października 1987r. w Nowym Dworze Gdańskim, w składzie Aldona, Mały, Stefan i nazywał się właśnie 13 Październik. Potem doszedł Gleba i nastąpiła zmiana nazwy na J-24, przestali grać w 89r. Jeszcze w tym samym roku zeszli się w pierwotnym składzie i tak powstał Październik. Zespół wiele koncertował m.in. w Gdyni, Tczewie, Morągu, Lublinie, Ciechanowcu, Szczytnie, Dobrej, Nowogardzie, Pasłęku, Ostródzie, Sztutowie, Ostaszewie i oczywiście w Nowym Dworze Gdańskim. W 1995 r. można było zobaczyć w telewizji Orunia SKY koncertowy teledysk do utworu Winda.
