Laibach to słoweński zespół założony w 1980 roku w górniczo-przemysłowej miejscowości Trbovlje w byłej Jugosławii. Skrzydło muzyczne interdyscyplinarnego kolektywu artystycznego Neue Slowenische Kunst (NSK)[1], w którego skład wchodzą: grupa sztuki wizualnej IRWIN, grupa teatralna Noordung (dawniej Gledališče Sester Scipion Nasice), studio grafiki i designu Novi Kolektivizem i Departament Czystej i Stosowanej Filozofii. Laibach uczestniczył również w projektach artystycznych Germania, Strom und Klang, Kraftbach, Peter Paracelsus i 300.000 Verschiedene Krawalle. Zespół stworzył muzykę do wielu przedstawień teatralnych takich jak: Makbet, Krst pod Triglavom, No Fire Escape in Hell czy Molitevi stroj. Część utworów bazuje na przeróbkach piosenek najbardziej znanych zespołów światowych, takich jak The Beatles, Queen, Europe czy The Rolling Stones. Wstawka zawiera najnowszą, dwudziestą trzecią płytę zespołu.
