Mając na swoim koncie ponad trzydzieści lat aktywnej służby pod ćwiekami i pasami kulowymi, Necrophobic to niekwestionowane legendy sceny death i black metalowej. Sztokholmski zespół, założony w 1989 roku przez perkusistę Joakima Sternera, od samego początku propagował wyjątkową i nieustraszoną wizję. Necrophobic wypracowało sobie własną odważną i żywą tożsamość, tworząc gęsto melodyjne podejście do makabrycznego ekstremalnego metalu, które znalazło sobie wielu naśladowców. Pomimo licznych zmian w składzie i chwil zamieszania, mroczne światło Necrophobic nigdy nie przygasło.
