Os Mutantes to brazylijska grupa rockowa, która uformowała się w drugiej połowie lat 60. jako kolaboracja dwóch braci: Arnaldo Baptisty i Sergio Diasa z wokalistką amerykańskiego pochodzenia Ritą Lee. Zespół od razu stał się częścią tworzącego się wówczas ruchu Tropicalia, który w awangardowy i niezwykle barwny sposób łączył tradycyjną muzykę brazylijską: sambę czy bossa novę z psychodeliczną stroną anglosaskiego rock & rolla. W czerwcu 1968 roku ukazał się album-manifest ruchu Tropicalia: ou Panis et Circencis, który swój tytuł zaczerpnął właśnie z utworu Os Mutantes napisanego przez dwie inne prominentne figury brazylijskiej muzyki: Caetano Veloso i Gilberto Gila. Za album Luksus zespół otrzymał Fryderyka 1995 w kategorii Album roku – muzyka tradycji i źródeł. Zespół często czerpie inspiracje z piosenek Stanisława Grzesiuka. W 1999 roku zespół wydał drugi album Kicha promowany koncertem w teatrze Buckleina w Krakowie, z którego ukazało się DVD zawierające cały występ, oraz jako bonus teledysk Komu dzwonią.

Lucinda Williams (ur. 26 stycznia 1953 w Lake Charles) to amerykańska piosenkarka i kompozytorka muzyki country z elementami rocka, folka i bluesa. Pomimo wydania wcześniej kilku albumów pierwszy komercyjny sukces odniosła dopiero jako kompozytorka piosenki Passionate Kisses wykonanaej przez Mary Chapin Carpenter, za który uhonorowana została w 1994 nagrodą Grammy.
Najbardziej znany album piosenkarki pochodzi z 1998 i jest nim Car Wheels on a Gravel Road za który otrzymała kolejną nagrodę Grammy w 1999. Po raz trzeci została nią uhonorowana w 2002 w kategorii najlepszej wokalistki rockowej. Kolejne albumy nie powtórzyły sukcesu płyty z 1998 roku. Wstawka zawiera piętnasty, najnowszy album studyjny Lucindy Williams.
