Christopher Anton Rea (born 4 March 1951) is an English singer-songwriter and guitarist,
recognisable for his distinctive, husky voice and slide guitar playing.The British Hit Singles & Albums
stated that Rea was "one of the most popular UK singer-songwriters of the late 1980s. He was already
a major European star by the time he finally cracked the UK Top 10 with his 18th chart entry;
"The Road to Hell (Part 2)". As of 2009, he has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide.

Nad brzegiem Jeziora Genewskiego już po raz 48 odbył się słynny Montreux Jazz Festival,
a do 19 lipca było kilkadziesiąt legendarnych koncertów. Festiwal jazzowy w szwajcarskim
Montreux trwał dwa tygodnie. W dużej sali w jeden z wieczorów wystąpił haryzmatyczny gitarzysta
i piosenkarz Chrisa Rea, który wszedł już do panteonu legend.

Christopher Anton "Chris" Rea (ur. 4 marca 1951 w Middlesbrough), brytyjski gitarzysta, piosenkarz,
autor tekstów. Rea sprzedał ponad 30 milionów egzemplarzy swoich płyt na całym świecie.

Chris Rea zaczynał w 1973 roku, w lokalnym zespole Magdalene. Zastąpił Davida Coverdale'a, który odszedł
do Deep Purple. W 1975 roku grupa zmieniła nazwę na Beautiful Losers i wygrała krajowy konkurs talentów.
Dwa lata później Rea opuścił zespół i rozpoczął karierę solową.
