ELEGIS was founded at the turn 2011 by Baron. The music of this project is embedded in the genre of blackened death metal. Between 1991 and 1995 Baron played in several local bands in Poland, the last of them was a death metal band, VICTIMIZED. Baron moved to Norway, and after a long break he decided to create a long planned solo project. Not long after the foundation of ELEGIS, Baron also cooperated with Hidden in the black metal project PROFANATISM. At the end of 2014, ELEGIS recorded the first MCD titled "Hail To The Tyrants" with guest vocals made by Kristian Wangberg(EFREETI). In 2016 Heerwegen Tod Production released split ELEGIS/IMMEMORATUS on MC version. In the same period the full length debut album,“Superhuman Syndrome”, was recorded, and official released in 2017 by More Hate Production.
