Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered to remake jednej z odsłon popularnej serii wyścigowej, która oryginalnie trafiła m.in. na pecety i konsole PlayStation 3 oraz Xbox 360. Produkcja cechuje się poprawioną oprawą graficzną i oferuje nową zawartość. Gra została opracowana przez studio Stellar Entertainment (twórców udanego Burnout Paradise Remastered). Wydawcą jest koncern Electronic Arts. Gameplay Mechanika rozgrywki Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered nie różni się od tego, co znamy z oryginalnej gry są to wyścigi w konwencji ucieczek przed policją. Tytuł charakteryzuje się zręcznościowym modelem jazdy i skupia na widowiskowości. Znajdziemy w nim dużo intensywnych scen, a nawet specjalne umiejętności. Na liście dostępnych samochodów znalazło się aż 77 pojazdów, w tym m.in. Aston Martin DBS Volante, Chevrolet Camaro SS, Lamborghini Countach 5000 QV czy Maserati GranTurismo S.
