PicturesToExe to niewielkie i proste w obsłudze narzędzie, umożliwiające tworzenie ciekawych pokazów slajdów na bazie kolekcji zdjęć oraz materiałów wideo. Dodatkowo użytkownik może wzbogacić swoje projekty o podkład dźwiękowy.
Aplikacja daje możliwość pracy w trybie uproszczonym oraz z wykorzystaniem osi czasu. W obu przypadkach praca nad pokazem slajdów opiera się na wczytaniu poszczególnych jego elementów oraz ustaleniu ich kolejności i czasu wyświetlania. Do naszej dyspozycji oddano szereg efektów możliwych do zastosowania na poszczególnych slajdach lub podczas przejść pomiędzy nimi. W programie nie zabrakło również prostego edytora graficznego, przydatnego podczas wyostrzania fotografii, nakładania na nie ramek, obracania o zadany kąt czy też nakładania efektu przezroczystości.
PicturesToExe jako pliki wejściowe wykorzystać może obrazy JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP, materiały wideo AVI, MOV, MPG, MP4, FLV, DIVX, XVID, WMV oraz dźwięki MP3, WAV, OGG, WMA. Gotowy projekt zapiszemy w postaci pliku wykonywalnego EXE, pokazu slajdów, filmiku AVI, wypalimy na płytę jako kompilację DVD-Video, przekonwertujemy do formatów kompatybilnych z urządzeniami przenośnymi lub opublikujemy na łamach YouTube'a.

PicturesToExe creates slide show in stand-alone EXE file. Using a clean-looking, intuitive interface, you select pictures from any combination of folders on your system. Then press the Create button. In just moments, you've produced an .exe file that, when run, displays the images with the options you've selected. Options let you specify automatic or manual sequencing, pick the timer interval, adjust font and background properties, and decide whether you want the sequence to run once and terminate or to repeat continuously. You can also add a MIDI, or MP3-based soundtrack and associate each picture with a .wav file. PicturesToExe is a nice way to share your favorite images with others in a compact, easy-to-email form. Ability to create AVI video file.
PicturesToExe Deluxe supports different formats such as PNG, GIF, BMP and JPEG, which is the main for this program. A slideshow in executable format can be reproduced on any computer. No additional program, not even PicturesToExe itself, is needed to run a finished slideshow, except a produced executable file. You can place any objects (images, text labels with drop shadows) on a slide and customize complex animation.
It’s either possible to use various cinematographic transition effects including 3D effects between slides, to add background music, sound and text comments to a slide and even to customize dialog windows. You can also synchronize slideshows to music. The slideshow has a very high picture quality and the smoothest playback of Pan/Zoom/Rotate effects you have ever seen.
VideoBuilder in PicturesToExe Deluxe edition allows you to burn a DVD-video disc with your slideshows quickly and easily. You can adjust the menu and many other parameters of your DVD disc. You cannot but notice one more advantage, PicturesToExe gives you an opportunity to create an AVI-video file, HD Video for PC and Mac and Video for iPhone. You may also publish your slideshows on Youtube and Vimeo. If you think, it’s necessary you can protect your slideshow with a password and assign an expiration date. Burned in PicturesToExe DVD-video disc can be played on any DVD player, PC or MAC.

Color management
