'In 1988 (3 years after the split of the band) Frank Bornemann, the mastermind of ELOY, and Michael Gerlach, the keyboarder decided to release a new album called "Ra", just for fun.
They sold 60.000 pieces of the "RA" album, a lot for a German band where nobody knows, that they're still living.
Normally is that the time to start a tour to perform the new album, but there is no lineup for a liveband.
Only at one time Frank Bornemann can`t say no. ELOY performed the complete RA album at a Rock Festival in the German town Ahlen, on March 2d in 1988.
The lineup was Frank Bornemann, Michael Gerlach and the studio musicians from the RA album. But they are only able to play the RA songs.

A private German Television Channel recorded the full show and they broadcasted it a few days later in the night (only a few guys saw it on TV).
This is the full Eloy performance including a interview. The interview is incomplete.'

Rzadkie nagranie telewizyjne występu Black Widow w niemieckim programie Beat Club.
Mystic Records (Mys 666). The package contains a dvd and a cd of the band's performance for the German tv programme Beat Club in 1970

While I was thinking about this 2,000th review, I thought of several releases: the triple DVD set from The Who (Tommy, Quadrophenia and a bonus live DVD), the great Floyd one (P.U.L.S.E.), a six CD box set from Purple (Listen, Learn, Read On) that features some unreleased historical live performances or the new and extended Song Remains The Same by who you know. But I finally decided a few weeks ago to get this one instead.

An unknown release of a little known band that I quite enjoy. A good old band I should say. The Sacrifice show live from Black Widow released in 2007. It comes as a dual work: one CD and one DVD. The CD for the car and the DVD for each home playing of course.

23 kwietnia 2008r, grupa Tangerine Dream wystąpiła na Uniwersytecie Technicznym w holenderskim Eindhoven.

Macierzysta formacja Froese'go sięga po utwory z solowych płyt swojego lidera i prezentuje je w aktualnej szacie brzmieniowej. A więc są kompozycje z tak ciekawych płyt jak: Pinnacles, Stuntman, From Ages, Dalinetopia, Epsylon In Malaysian Pale czy też serii The Ambient Highway. Ale zespół sięga i po utwory z własnego dorobku, między innymi z płyt: 220Volt czy Views From A Red Train. Jednak to solowa muzyka Edgara, ewidentnie rządzi na tym wydawnictwie. I w sumie nie daleko jej do brzmienia Tangerine Dream. Linda Spa co i raz pOPISuje się znakomitymi solówkami na saksofonie, na gitarze Bernard Bebil wygrywa drapieżne nieraz sola, przez co stara się nadać tym utworom rockowy pazur. Wreszcie i sam bohater gra na gitarze jak i instr. elektronicznych, włączając się do kreowania nowej formuły dla swoi

Po pierwsze, to pierwszy album z muzyką i głosem Johna Wettona wydany już po jego niedawnej śmierci. Już z tego względu „Symfonia” będzie miała historyczne miejsce w przebogatym dorobku grupy Asia. A po drugie, to naprawdę bardzo udane wydawnictwo. Do oglądania i do słuchania. Jest ono zapisem koncertu, który odbył się 21 września 2013 roku w rzymskim, wybudowanym w II w.n.e., amfiteatrze w Płowdiw (tym samym, który zdążyliśmy dobrze poznać z koncertowego wydawnictwa Anathemy pt. „Universal”) podczas festiwalu Sounds of the Ages. Legendarna grupa wystąpiła w swoim ostatnim składzie (John Wetton, Geoff Downes, Carl Palmer oraz Sam Coulson) i swój występ podzieliła na dwie części. W pierwszej, typowo rockowej, wykonała utwory ze swojego żelaznego repertuaru („Sole Survivor”, „Open Your Eyes”) oraz z nowszych, wydanych już po reaktywacji, płyt studyjnych (m.in. „An Extraordinary Life”, „Face On A Bridge”, „Holy War”).

In April 1972 the band were part of the way through their extensive European tour when on the 12th they stopped off at Germany’s Radio Bremen studios.

Most fans will be familiar with the cracking video of Don and the boys performing ‘I’m Gonna Booglarize You Baby’ broadcast on the German music show ‘Beat Club’ and many have wondered if they recorded anything else at this session. Well, yes they did and here’s the proof!

In excellent audio and video quality we get to see and hear Rockette Morton’s ‘Bass Solo’ and the full band on ‘Click Clack’, ‘Golden Birdies’, ‘Steal Softly Thru Snow’ as well as further takes of ‘Booglarize’ performing against a ‘blue screen’. Some of the footage seems to be pre-production and is only one camera angle so it is a bit unbalanced at times. The Poison: Live at Brixton is a DVD released on 30 October 2006 in the United Kingdom and was released on 19 December 2006 in the United States. The DVD is of Bullet for My Valentine performing live at the Brixton Academy on 28 January 2006, shortly before frontman Matt Tuck began to experience throat and vocals problems. It was released in Japan as a CD/DVD box. The CD included the complete concert at Brixton as an audio. In 2017, the band released Live From Brixton Chapter Two, a two-night performance celebrating the tenth anniversary of their first album The Poison.

Michael Learns to Rock (also known as MLTR) are a Danish pop-soft rock band that perform songs in English. Formed in 1988, the band has sold over 11 million records worldwide, mainly in Asia, and in addition, another 6 million or more paid downloads for their single "Take Me To Your Heart" which was awarded "most downloaded single of the year 2006". They have produced seven studio albums as well as many live and greatest hits albums, and are currently about to release their eighth studio album, Scandinavia.

DVD with crazy performances from NY and Italy. Most footage has been restored out from VHS tapes. The quality is not that good due to analog recording that was more affordable in 80`s and has not that digital shape which is standard these days. The band have done very good job making this for your eyes anyway. Actually I have given amount of time digging this release and at the end of the day have very positive feeling that it is not yet discovered .

Finland has produced a remarkable sequence of great metal bands, across all the metal genres. Including, bands such as Amorphis, Nightwish, Wintersun, and the much missed melodic doom/death metallers, Ghost Brigade.

Swallow The Sun, though, must surely rank amongst the finest metal bands Finland has produced. Formed in 2000, they describe their music, on their Facebook page, as “Heavy melancholic metal from the darkest corners of Finland.” A very apt description of this great band’s sweeping musical sound.

In 2020, the band had planned to celebrate their 20th anniversary with tours in Europe and North America, however after 10 gigs, the advent of the pandemic saw all these shows cancelled. The new live album is taken from a gig they recorded and filmed in Helsinki, on that first leg of the tour.

Największy w historii Indii koncert zespołu Deep Purple pierwotnie wydany na kasecie VHS, zarejestrowany 18 kwietnia 1995 w Bombaju przez telewizję indyjską podczas promocji płyty Purpendicular.

DVD wydane 3 października 2000 ma krótki podtytuł Official Bootleg, co w pełni tłumaczy słabą jakość dźwięku i marny obraz (zwłaszcza w szerokich planach i ciemnych sekwencjach). Na płycie DVD z roku 2004 dodano jako bonus koncert z 19 marca 1995 zarejestrowany w Seulu przez telewizję koreańską w kolorze, w dużo lepszej jakości.
