Quite honestly, it’s refreshing to hear some real hardcore delivered by a trio of seasoned Vets who truly mean all that they’re screaming about, as opposed to a band of content, successful, graying, balding fat fucks who are simply attempting to ride some retro-trend cash cow to the nearest bank. Rattus are not THAT band. They play with violent precision, passion and a palpable sense of pure anger that transcends any linguistic barriers. This is punk that comes from the soul and these are songs that can be felt like an adrenaline shot to the head. Yeah, all of the songs are in Finnish, but you don’t have to be able to speak a word of it in order to understand that Rattus are the genuine article. This is one of the best hardcore albums I’ve heard in many, many years. I really wish there were more like it.

"Pretty much if you like the Exploited there is a really good chance that you'll like the Varukers. It's a pretty good album if you're really into Hardcore Punk.

The Varukers sound way too much like Discharge (I'm not saying that's a bad thing, I actually like them a little better than Discharge), even though Rat is in the current Discharge line-up. anyway, this CD is good. It sounds like Discharge and Exploited with Rat's vocals. I just got into this band and this probably might be an okay place to start but I would maybe try to look for their early stuff first.

SMAR SW – polski zespół muzyczny założony w 1989 roku w Rzeszowie.
Minęło trochę czasu, od kiedy w 1996 roku grupa SMAR SW zakończyła swoją działalność. Znajdziecie tu historię zespołu widzianą oczami osoby, która brała w tym udział,
od dnia pierwszego oddechu po ostatnie tchnienie. Znajdziecie teksty, bodaj że najważniejszą część tego przedsięwziecia. Teksty, które jak się wydaje wywarły
dość duży wpływ na całą rzeszę młodych ludzi w tym kraju. Pisząc je mieliśmy w dupię tzw. formę poetycką, najważniejsza zawsze była treść zawartego w nich przekazu.
Chcieliśmy aby ludzie się z nimi utożsamiali.
