Ósmy, najnowszy album studyjny Placebo, brytyjskiej grupy rockowej. Zespół został założony przez wokalistę i gitarzystę Briana Molko oraz basistę Stefana Olsdala. Początkowo grali do automatu perkusyjnego, ale niespecjalnie im to odpowiadało i wkrótce dołączył do nich perkusista a kolega Stefa – Robert Schultzberg, którego od czasu do czasu wymieniał Steven Hewitt (z nim nagrali demówki). Molko i Olsdal preferowali Hewitta, jednakże ten wolał grać z zespołem Breed. Niedługo po tym, zespół został zauważony przez Davida Bowiego. Idol kapeli był ich drogą do kariery. Bowie zabrał ich na swoją trasę koncertową, gdzie grali oni jako suport, pomimo tego, iż nie wydali jeszcze żadnego albumu, ani singla, a sam Bowie przesłuchał kilka płyt demonstracyjnych Placebo. Dwa lata po powstaniu, w 1996, zespół podpisał kontrakt z Caroline Records i wydał swój pierwszy, debiutancki album Placebo. Red Hot Chili Peppers to kalifornijski zespół grający głównie funk rock. Powstała w Los Angeles w 1983. Obecny skład grupy tworzą wokalista Anthony Kiedis, gitarzysta John Frusciante, basista Michael Flea Balzary i perkusista Chad Smith. Zróżnicowany styl muzyczny zespołu połączył tradycyjny funk z elementami innych stylów, w tym rocka alternatywnego, punk rocka, i rocka psychodelicznego. Oprócz Kiedisa i Balzary'ego w skład grupy pierwotnie wchodzili gitarzysta Hillel Slovak i perkusista Jack Irons. Slovak zmarł w 1988 r. z powodu przedawkowania heroiny, powodując odejście Ironsa. Na miejsce Ironsa do zespołu szybko wszedł dawny perkusista Dead Kennedys D.H. Jubileuszowa edycja albumu Grzegorza Markowskiego „Kolorowy telewizor” wydana na czarnym CD z okazji 65-lecia Polskich Nagrań. Album po raz pierwszy ukazuje się na płycie CD!

Płyta „Kolorowy telewizor” została wydana w 1987 roku. Grzegorz Markowski już w 1981 na „Białym albumie” Perfectu śpiewał o tym, że chciałby być sobą, a na „Kolorowym telewizorze” sobą w stu procentach jest. Jego wokalna ekspresja stanowi główną siłę napędową tego wydawnictwa. Jest absolutnie nie do podrobienia. Płyta powstała cztery lata po rozwiązaniu zespołu Perfect.

W wielu momentach „Kolorowy telewizor” zbliża się do macierzystej formacji wokalisty – ale nawet gdy muzyka próbowała uciekać w inne rejony, sama barwa głosu i sposób śpiewania Markowskiego przywoływał ją na jedyne słuszne tory. Uwagę zwracają głównie ballady – kameralne „Widzisz Panie”, czy „Zgubiłem się, mamo” oraz hipnotyczny utwór tytułowy z tekstem-wyliczanką, a także „Uważaj na

There is an aspect of Mindfulness called Beginner’s Mind that encourages curiosity, letting go of expectations and approaching things with an open mind. Red Alert In The Blue Forest definitely encourages this aspect; not only did I feel a lot calmer when experiencing this work of art, my inquisitiveness piqued for the duration of the record. It also shows that VON HERTZEN BROTHERS are still going strong.

Eksperymentalny post rock w wykonaniu Szwedów ze Svarti Loghin, jak każdy ich krążek przynoszący zupełnie inną muzykę niż poprzednie płyty.
A Sea of Green, a passage to horizons of merged colours, from the deepest nights echoing the darkness within depressive black metal to vision going through border of metal. Negative rock coming from black roots has never been so creative. This album is the logical consequence of the experiments and intuitions of the first two full lengths released by Svarti Loghin. Let your spirit become one with the Sea of green. For fans of the 70' progressive wave & Joyless.
