Parricide jest filarem na polskiej scenie brutal death metalowej i na spokojnie mogę przyznać, że są w europejskiej czołówce jeśli chodzi o warsztat jaki reprezentują. Z podium ciężko będzie ich strącić, bo zapracowali sobie na swoją mocną pozycję. A jeśli wśród Was ( mam nadzieje, że nie) są osoby, które dziwią się co to ten cały Parricide, to powinni skosztować chociaż odrobiny ich muzyki i poczuć to co we mnie drzemie od tych kilku ładnych lat.

Tytuł najnowszego albumu Variété wydaje się dość przekorny. Słychać bowiem, że akurat co jak co, ale muzycy doskonale wiedzą. Mowa tu zarówno o tym, co mogą jeszcze pokazać, jak i co chcą w ogóle osiągnąć. A najlepiej, że udało im się to w pełni, co przy zespole z takim stażem może się wydawać nie lada osiągnięciem.

Grzegorz Kaźmierczak - lider Variété - od lat powtarza, że nieważna jest przeszłość, ale patrzenie w przyszłość. Być może dlatego z czasem pierwotnie zimnofalowe Variété - korespondujące wówczas z dziełami Joy Division, The Cure z okresu "Faith" i "Pornography" czy Xmal Deutschland - zmierzało w stronę inspiracji jazzem czy kolportowało elementy muzyki elektronicznej. Na "Nie wiem" muzycy poszerzają ten wachlarz jeszcze bardziej, dobitnie pokazując, że nie mają zamiaru żyć tym, co było wczoraj.
