Music to Be Murdered By is the eleventh studio album by American rapper Eminem, released on January 17, 2020 by Aftermath Entertainment, Interscope Records and Shady Records with no prior announcement, in similar fashion to his previous album Kamikaze (201. The album was produced by Dr. Dre, Eminem and others, and features collaborations with Black Thought, Q-Tip, Juice Wrld, Ed Sheeran, Young M.A, Skylar Grey, Don Toliver, Anderson .Paak and Royce da 5\'9\", among others

Alongside the album, Eminem also released a music video for \"Darkness\", directed by James Larese.

Writing for The Guardian, Alexis Petridis regarded Music to Be Murdered By as a \"stronger\" album than Kamikaze, whilst praising Eminem\'s delivery as \"warp-speed and perfectly enunciated\" with \"constant shifts in tempo and emphasis\".[7] Neil McCormick of The Telegraph gave the album five-stars, and described it as \"so lethally brilliant [that] it should be a crime\"

At the beginning of their career, Level 42 was squarely a jazz-funk fusion band, contemporaries of fellow Brit funk groups like Atmosfear, Light of the World, Incognito, and Beggar & Co. By the end of the '80s, however, the band - whose music was instantly recognizable from Mark King's thumb-slap bass technique and associate member Wally Badarou's synthesizer flourishes - had crossed over to the point where they were often classified as sophisti-pop and dance-rock, equally likely to be placed in the context of Sade and the Style Council as any group that made polished, upbeat, danceable pop/rock. Blowing the Fuse is a killer series of compilation CDs issued by Germany's premier archivist label, Bear Family. Subtitled "R&B Classics That Rocked the Jukebox," each volume is compiled by year. 1954 was a boom year for jukeboxes across the United States as rhythm & blues and rock & roll maintained their collision course. This volume contains 29 affirmed classics of the early postwar years. The more well-known tunes of the era are given great balance by some nearly forgotten gems that are juxtaposed in the brilliant sequencing -- by producer Dave "Daddy Cool" Booth. Highlights from this volume are the Spiders' "I Didn't Want to Do It," the Cadillacs' "Gloria," the Chords' "Sh-Boom," Ray Charles' "It Should Have Been Me," and Dave Bartholomew's "Jump Children." The package is beautiful with Colin Escott's liner notes detailing every cut, accompanied by photographs and a lovely digipack.
