Broussai to czołowy przedstawiciel francuskiego reggae. Zespół powstał w 2000 roku i do dnia dzisiejszego nagrał siedem albumów długogrających i jedną EP-kę. Slovak Metal Army sets February 25th as the international release date for The Split‘s striking debut album, Reminiscences.

The birth of the progressive-experimental body The Split dates back to mid-summer 2018. Zdeněk Čepa Čepička (Forgotten Silence, Ador Dorath, Postcards from Arkham) and Mirek Řezníček (Split Bearing, Porcupine Tree Tribute) found out that they have musically a lot in common. After the initial non-binding rehearsal and experimentation, systematic and less systematic work, and the search for musical direction and expression, there was a fundamental breakthrough and the idea to create a new, regular band came alive.

Mimo że, od czterech blisko dziesięcioleci nie ma ich na estradzie, w historii polskiej piosenki zapisali się na trwałe, a tytuły ich płytowych przebojów wchłonął język codzienności. Po sławę i popularność wystartowali śmiało, niezrażeni konkurencją zespołu Dwa Plus Jeden. Ba! Andrzej Rybiński pewny swej artystycznej samodzielności rozstał się z nim właśnie po to, aby utworzyć własny. Nic to, że wiodący styl budowany był na podobnych folk-rockowych fundamentach, za to inny w nastroju, pogodny, romantyczny.

Nieoficjalny start w estradową przyszłość odbył się wiosną 1971 roku na scenie warszawskiego Klubu Piosenki ZAKR, a utrwalony został wkrótce pierwszymi nagraniami radiowymi dla Młodzieżowego Studia Rytm. Nazywali się wtedy Grupą Elizy Grochowieckiej, którą tworzyli wraz z solistką Andrzej Rybiński, Zbigniew Hołdys i Arkadiusz Żak.
