Pierwszą od sześciu lat płytę heavy / powermetalowego Jag Panzer z Kolorado nagrano w Sonic Phish Productions (partie basu i perkusju), studiu Hound House (gitara rytmiczna i wokale) i SteamPunk Audio Labs (ścieżki gitary prowadzącej). Miksem w słynnym florydzkim studiu Morrisound zajął się Jim Morris, masteringiem zaś Maor Appelbaum w kalifornijskim Maor Appelbaum Mastering.
Okładkę "The Hallowed", 11. longplaya Amerykanów, zaprojektował serbski artysta Dusan Markovic, autor pracy zdobiącej "The Deviant Chord", poprzedni album Jag Panzer z 2017 roku


"The Hallowed" to album konceptualny o postapokaliptycznej przyszłości opowiedziany z perspektywy zwierząt. Z zawartą na nim opowieścią, choć przedstawioną z punktu widzenia ludzi, fani mogli zapoznać się pod koniec 2022 roku na kartach komiksu o tym samym tytule, który muzycy wydali własnym sumptem.

Fozzy to amerykański zespół heavy metalowy założony w Atlancie w stanie Georgia w 1999 roku przez wokalistę Chrisa Jericho, gitarzystę Richa Warda i perkusistę Franka Fontsere, którzy są najdłużej działającymi członkami zespołu i pojawili się na wszystkich wydawnictwach, chociaż Fontsere odszedł w 2005 roku, ponownie dołączył w 2009 roku i ponownie odszedł w 2022 roku. Obecny skład zespołu składa się z Jericho, Warda, drugiego gitarzysty Billy'ego Greya, basisty P. J. Farleya i perkusisty Granta Brooksa. Jericho scharakteryzował zespół, mówiąc: "Gdyby Metallica i Black Sabbath mieli bękarta, byłby to Fozzy." Od września 2022 roku zespół wydał osiem albumów studyjnych i jeden album koncertowy. Ich pierwsze dwa albumy składają się głównie z coverów piosenek z pewnym oryginalnym materiałem, podczas gdy ich albumy od tego czasu sprawiły, że oryginalny materiał stał się głównym celem.
