Foxtrot is where Genesis began to pull all of its varied inspirations into a cohesive sound -- which doesn't necessarily mean that the album is streamlined, for this is a group that always was grandiose even when they were cohesive, or even when they rocked, which they truly do for the first time here. Indeed, the startling thing about the opening "Watcher of the Skies" is that it's the first time that Genesis attacked like a rock band, playing with a visceral power. There's might and majesty here, and it, along with "Get 'Em Out by Friday," is the truest sign that Genesis has grown muscle without abandoning the whimsy.

Alan Parsons delivered a detailed blueprint for his Project on their 1975 debut, Tales of Mystery and Imagination, but it was on its 1977 follow-up, I Robot, that the outfit reached its true potential. Borrowing not just its title but concept from Isaac Asimov's classic sci-fi Robot trilogy, this album explores many of the philosophies regarding artificial intelligence -- will it overtake man, what does it mean to be man, what responsibilities do mechanical beings have to their creators, and so on and so forth -- with enough knotty intelligence to make it a seminal text of late-'70s geeks, and while it is also true that appreciating I Robot does require a love of either sci-fi or art rock, it is also true that sci-fi art rock never came any better than this.

Remy marzy o karierze wielkiego kucharza. Dwie rzeczy stoją mu na przeszkodzie - niechętna rodzina i fakt, iż jest szczurem. Nasz bohater jednak się tym nie zraża i dzielnie dąży do realizacji celu. Zbieg okoliczności sprawia, że trafia on do kanałów mieszczących się dokładnie pod ekskluzywną paryską restauracją. Początkowo Remy nie jest w lokalu mile widziany, ale pasja gotowania bierze górę nad różnicami gatunkowymi. Wkrótce cały kulinarny światek zostaje wywrócony do góry nogami...

Góry nie zaznały krwi przez niemal trzy lata. Panujący w nich spokój trwał, od kiedy Wiktor Forst ujął mordercę nazywanego Bestią z Giewontu – i nic nie wskazywało na to, by sytuacja miała się zmienić.

Koszmar nadszedł wraz z halnym. Dominika Wadryś-Hansen została wezwana do Zakopanego, gdy tuż przed wejściem do kaplicy na Wiktorówkach odnaleziono makabrycznie zamordowaną kobietę. Ciało rozcięto, wnętrzności wywleczono, a w ustach ofiary umieszczono monetę łudząco przypominającą te, którymi posługiwał się seryjny zabójca lata temu.

Poszlaki prowadzą donikąd, odpowiedzi jednak zdaje się mieć osadzony w więzieniu Iwo Eliasz. Deklaruje, że zamierza się nimi podzielić – ale tylko z jednym człowiekiem.
