Amerykanie w pierwszej fazie działalności (zespół rozpadł się w 1989 roku) wydali dwa studyjne albumy: "Fifth Angel" (1986 r.) oraz "Time Will Tell" (1989 r.).
Pracowali przez 3 tygodnie, 24 godziny na dobę. Powstał szpital tymczasowy.

23 października 2018 roku do rąk fanów formacji trafi trzecie wydawnictwo. Album zatytułowany "The Thrid Secret" wyda niemiecka Nuclear Blast Records.

W składzie wskrzeszonego w 2017 roku Fifth Angel znaleźli się dawni członkowie zespołu, czyli wokalista Kendall Bechtel, basista John Macko, gitarzysta Ed Archer i perkusista Ken Mary.

After becoming a cult hero as the lead singer of the Misfits and Samhain, Glenn Danzig finally stepped into the mainstream with his group Danzig, who took the horror-themed lyrical imagery of his earlier groups into darker and more devilish directions while draping his rough but melodic tunes in heavy metal garb. Amboog-A-Lard - amerykańska grupa thrashmetalowa założona w 1987 roku na Florydzie. Szybko z typowo garażowej formacji tworzonej przez dojrzewających nastolatków stała się objawieniem sceny thrash w USA. Niestety zespół nie przetrwał próby czasu i szybko wzrastającej popularności. Wraz z odejściem kompozytora-gitarzysty Jeordie White'a grupa przestała istnieć. Amboog-A-Lard w sześcioletniej działalności nagrali jedno demo i płytę.
Zespół został założony przez Dana Fontanę, George'a Kokkorkisa i Barry'ego Alperta w 1987 roku. Wszyscy trzej wymienieni młodzi muzycy byli wielkimi fanami amerykańskich thrashowych kapel takich jak: Anthrax, Exodus czy Metallica. Cała trójka chciała w szybkim tempie zostać ich kontynuatorami. Nonszalancja nastolatków sprawiła jednak, że muzyka jaką tworzyli nie była tylko zlepkiem kompozycji zgodnych ze schematem: "im szybciej-tym lepiej". Oryginalny skład nagrał debiutancki album Power and Pain dla Roadrunner Records w 1986 roku. Joe Cangelosi zastąpił Scaglione tego samego roku, gdy ten wystąpił z zespołu, aby dołączyć do trasy ze Slayerem. Ten pierwszy nagrał z resztą zespołu Ticket to Mayhem w 1987 roku. W 1989, Glenn Hensen dołączył jako wokalista, aby nagrać album Insult to Injury. Call Death Magnetic Kirk Hammett's revenge. Famously browbeaten into accepting Lars Ulrich and producers Bob Rock's dictum that guitar solos were "dated" and thereby verboten for 2003's St. Anger -- a fraught recording chronicled on the 2004 documentary Some Kind of Monster -- Metallica's lead guitarist dominates this 2008 sequel, playing with an euphoric fury not heard in years, if not decades. This aesthetic shift isn't because Hammett suddenly rules the band: powerless to add solos to St. Anger, he couldn't reinstate them without the blessing of Ulrich and James Hetfield, the politburo of Metallica. The duo suffered some combination of shame and humility in the wake of the muddled St. Anger and Monster, convincing these two unmovable forces to change direction. They ditched longtime producer Rock -- who'd helmed every album since 1991's breakthrough blockbuster Metallica
