"W ubiegłym roku, po ponad czterdziestu latach znajomości postanowiliśmy nagrać wspólnie pierwszą płytę. Tak, pierwszą. Było nas czterech: Lipko, Andrzejczak, Jurecki i Zeliszewski. Budka Suflera i Felicjan Andrzejczak. Piosenki Romka, oczywiście premierowe, oferta tekstowa skierowana do starych kumpli; Olewicza, Dutkiewicza, Cygana, Hołdysa… Razem z nami zaczęli tę pracę pozostali koledzy z zespołu, gitarzyści Piotrek Bogutyn i Darek Bafeltowski. Do tej ekipy dołączył Robert Dudzic, dźwiękowiec i producent od lat pracujący na rynku amerykańskim. Stało się jednak najgorsze. W lutym bieżącego roku odszedł od nas Romek Lipko. Gdy pierwszy szok minął postanowiliśmy dokończyć to, co wspólnie zaczęliśmy. Wyobrażając sobie, że nadal jesteśmy razem, numer po numerze zamienialiśmy źródłowe linie melodyczne w gotowe nagrania.
