"Circle in the Round" to kolejny zbiór wcześniej niewykorzystanych nagrań z katalogu Milesa Davisa. Tym razem pochodzących z bardzo odległych sesji. Kompilacja obejmuje materiał z lat 1955-1970. W ciągu tych piętnastu lat Davis dokonywał licznych zmian składów i stylów, co negatywnie wpływa na spójność tego wydawnictwa. Za to poziom poszczególnych utworów prezentuje się bardzo wysoko. W większości są to zupełnie premierowe nagrania. Wyjątek stanowi "Love for Sale", który w tej samej wersji był już wydany na japońskiej kompilacji "1958 Miles" (1974), a także "Two Bass Hit" i "Sanctuary" - znane odpowiednio z albumów "Milestones" i "Bitches Brew", tutaj jednak zamieszczone w innych, starszych wersjach, nagranych przez inne składy.

Miami, Forida’s Hexorcist makes no bones about it, they are old school Florida death metal. Their debut full length, EVIL REAPING DEATH, was just released 30 years after the explosion of bands from that very state that created the genre. Founded in 2019, the band has decided to add their own twist by making their identities rather vague with each member calling themselves Hexorcist I-IV adding an air of mystery around the band. But most importantly, it’s what they bring to the table musically that caught my ear. This is not just old school death metal in name, these guys back it up!
