Zespół FORT BS powstał w 1983 roku w Jeleniej Górze z fascynacji muzyką punk rockową i nowofalową oraz w opozycji do szarości i beznadziei egzystencji w ówczesnej Polsce. W 1984 roku po kilku lokalnych koncertach - prowadzony przez charyzmatycznego wokalistę Cichego - zespół zadebiutował na Festiwalu w Jarocinie. Zespół inspirował się wtedy jeszcze klasykami gatunku punk lecz dwa lata później przedstawił już zupełnie nowy zimnofalowy materiał powstały pod wpływem twórczości bydgoskiego Variete. Fort BS grał także w trakcie Jarocina 85 a rok później został wreszcie laureatem festiwalu a ich utwór Rozhulantyna trafił na składankową płytę Jeszcze Młodsza Generacja prezentującą punkowo-nowofalową czołówkę tamtego okresu. Dzięki wsparciu zaprzyjaźnionego z zespołem Makena, Fort BS wydał także split kasetę demo zawierającą także nagrania grupy Stress, gdzie udzielali się też grający w Forcie - Mario, Arturro i Zdzich. Monsieur Minimal to pseudonim Christosa Tsitroudisa, greckiego gitarzysty i kompozytora muzyki indie-pop. Popularność przyniosły mu dwa single wydane w 2007 roku - Silk i Love Is A Circle zaprezentowane podczas Coca-Cola Sound Wave Festival. Od tamtej pory wydał sześć albumów długogrających.
