Zakon Żebrzących rozpoczął działalność w 1986 r. w Gryfowie Śląskim / mała miejscowość położona na trasie Zgorzelec - Jelenia Góra /. Pierwszy skład to: Amper - git-voc, Blacky - git, Pendzel - bass, Juzef - voc, Szunio - gary. Mocny wpływ na muzykę Zakonu miały kapele spod znaku hc/punk/oi / Blitz, Peter and the Test Tube Babies, Subhumans, D.O.A. Conflict, Crass... /. W 1988 występują w Jarocinie w nowym składzie: Stempel zastępuje Blackyego a Bossman Juzefa. W tym tez składzie nagrywają swoje pierwsze i jedyne demo "A.L.F." Był to czas kiedy zespół był w 100% vegetariański i angażował się w akcje na rzecz zwierząt / pikiety, akcje propagujące wegetarianizm ale także akcje bezpośrednie /.
