New York. Someone is playing jazz standards in a club. Two lovers are having a sweet slow dance immersed in a timeless cloud of smoke. The notes of Basin street blues open Seven steps to heaven, Miles Davis’ eighth album, and this image appears in my mind. All of a sudden, the piano solo and the unpredicted sparkle of the ride cymbal transform the scene: a wide road in the middle of the emptiness of the American country, illuminated by the full light of noon. A red car is dead set while crossing it . The couple on board’s hairs are pleasantly fluttered by the gentle wind. But it is just a moment: in a second Miles Davis’ trumpet brings us back to the dark club. There is nobody left and the musicians are leaving the stage. What already seems the end is just the beginning.

Ritualive has to be one of the weakest live albums that has come my way in quite some time. I mean, I’ve seen rush jobs, and I’ve seen really weak efforts before but this is right up there in terms of pointlessness. Now, when I heard about the gig in Sao Paolo that was recorded for this album and DVD I was really excited. You have Shaman, which is three fifths ex – Angra and they had themselves a great debut album with Ritual, the entire back catalog of Angra to select prime cuts from, Pit Passarell (I think it was him, or Felipe Machado) from Viper coming onstage and doing Living For the Night, and finally there was Tobias Sammet and Andi Deris singing Sign of the Cross and Eagle Fly Free onstage with the band. With such a huge show I was expecting a monster of a live album but instead what we get is a rehash of Ritual in every sense of the word. The tracklisting is exactly like the studio album

"Nie było tak łatwo wybrać pierwszego singla z "Cancer Culture". Każda kompozycja ma inny klimat, każdą z nich chcielibyśmy Wam zaprezentować jak najszybciej. Ponieważ "Cancer Culture" jest utworem, który otwiera album, uznaliśmy, że będzie to idealny sposób na wprowadzenie Was w naszą nową muzykę. Oczekiwania, jeśli chodzi o nową płytę, były ogromne, nagrywanie jej było więc dla nas olbrzymim wyzwaniem. Ale ciężka praca się opłaca. Mieliśmy okazję zgromadzić niesamowitych ludzi, którzy zajęli się produkcją i pomogli nam osiągnąć jak najlepszy efekt. 'Something Between' to druga płyta duetu Makemake, nowego projektu współpracującego z Zoharum. Projekt plasuje się w rejonach bliskich free impovisation, muzyki elektroakustycznej i psychodelii.
Płyta została zarejestrowana w październiku 2016 w sali teatralnej CK Agora we Wrocławiu. Dzięki nagraniu w tak specyficznej, dużej sali uzyskano bardzo ciekawe brzmienie, dodatkowo nagranie instrumentów odbyło się na 9 mikrofonów rozstawionych w różnych częściach sali.

Miksem i masteringiem zajął się Michał Kupicz, który nadał płycie specyficzne przestrzenne brzmienie. Materiał muzyczny jest odmienny od tego, który można usłyszeć na pierwszym albumie 'From the Earth to the Moon' (MC, Złe Litery, 2016), który w całości był zapisem sesji swobodnej improwizacji. Iced Earth were invited to headline the Bang Your Head Festival on July 16th, 2016. Although the band was in the studio working on composing and preproduction of their forthcoming album Incorruptible (2017), they accepted the offer. The promoter of the show was wishing for a full play through of the Dark Saga (1996) album to celebrate the 20th anniversary of that record. However, due to the demands of the studio work, the band felt that there was no way to do a proper tribute to the entire album with the time constraints they were dealing with. The setlist is fairly Dark Saga heavy, but also features 3 tracks from the acclaimed Plagues of Babylon (2014) release, and thus unleashes these songs for the first time in a live recording, as well as touching on many eras of the bands vast catalog/history.

Ci, którzy tęsknią za klasycznym hard rockiem z lat 80. będą zadowoleni. Ta płyta zapowiada się jak powrót do przeszłości, choć absolutnie nie będzie odgrzewania starych kotletów. Michael Schenker z kolegami wydają się przeżywać drugą (trzecią?) młodość i najprawdopodobniej upichcił nam klasykę rocka ale bardzo smakowitą, bo nagrywaną z pasją i wyczuwalną radością.

Jak można się było spodziewać, Schenker po raz kolejny zaangażował do nagrań wielu znanych kolegów – muzyków. Przyjrzyjmy się temu. Kaipa previous album was not really great to say the least. Partially AOR oriented it still held some symphonic and pleasant tracks. I have to admit that this album features even less interesting songs (actually none).
This album is more -pop oriented and I have to say that if I didn't really liked Mats Löfgren lead vocals on their previous two albums, I can't stand at all the one of Hans Ludin here. His role should be confined to what he's doing best: keyboards playing. Period. To be convinced, just have a listen to the dreadful title track. But I would recommend you to press the magical key: NEXT.

This album has NOTHING to do with symphonic prog. Of course, "Kaipa" is not the first one to have changed from musical direction during his life cycle. And it hurts. Just as it hurt with lots of other bands. To name them all would be a real hell of a job but you get the idea.

Azul y Negro to hiszpański duet elektroniczno-synthpopowy, założony w 1981 roku przez Carlosa Garcia-Vaso, multiinstrumentalistę, autora piosenek i producenta, oraz Joaquina Montoyę z Cartageny. Azul y Negro byli pionierami muzyki syntezatorowej i electropopu w Hiszpanii. Debiutancki album La Edad De Los Colores ukazał się w 1981 roku. Rok później ukazał się album La Noche (The Night), a następnie pojawił się bardziej znany Digital. Zespół szybko pojawił się na międzynarodowych listach przebojów, na których odniósł spory sukces. Singiel Me Estoy Volviendo Loco (Going Crazy) stał się hitem w Europie, Japonii, Stanach Zjednoczonych i Australii. Dyskografia zespołu składa się z 22 płyt.
