Niewykluczone, że piekielny thrash mógłby sobie istnieć bez Infernäl Mäjesty, ale spójrzmy prawdzie w oczy – bez takiej płyty jak None Shall Defy byłby z pewnością znacznie uboższy.

Debiut legendarnej (i niezbyt pracowitej) załogi z Kanady robi wrażenie od pierwszych sekund, bo o tym, że jest to ich pierwszy album świadczy jedynie zadziorność, zaangażowanie i młodzieńcza energia, od której ten materiał aż kipi. Ta muzyka po prostu niszczy – zarówno jeśli chodzi o „parzystokopytny” klimat, jak i stronę czysto techniczną. Muzycy Infernäl Mäjesty nie wychowali się wśród Eskimosów (choć w sumie diabli ich tam wiedzą – z Kanady daleko nie mieli), toteż słychać u nich spore wpływy paru starszych kapel ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem Slayera, Possessed, Venom (ale takiego wyidealizowanego – jakby Anglicy potrafili grać), Mercyful Fate oraz Dark Angel – innymi słowy samej śmietanki plugawego diabelskiego łomotu. Motorheadzi wrócili tym albumem do swych standardowych długości - 36:47. Nagrali znów płytę inną od dotychczasowych, bardziej mroczną. Dla jednych będzie ona niestrawna z powodu niejednorodności materiału, dla innych będzie to jej zaletą.

Ale OPISu tej płyty nie można zacząć inaczej jak od książeczki, a właściwie od jej okładki i kolejnego epokowego działa mistrza Petagno. Pod względem artystycznym jest to rzecz wybitna - fajerwerk na cześć 20-lecia istnienia kapeli, petarda dla wrażliwych na brzydotę (Umberto Eco powinien był pamiętać o niej, pisząc historię owej kategorii estetycznej), erupcja samorodnego talentu. Kolejne wcielenie Snaggletootha, który tym razem zstąpił do piekieł, gdzie wziął w jasyr wszystkie demony i diabły, samą śmierć, która gdzieś tam przelatuje, ciągnąc za sobą nowe dusze oraz potępieńców pracujących przy budowie autostrady A1. Całość została utrzymana w tonacji czarnej i czerwonej, u dołu kilkadzies
