Zacnych reedycji ciąg dalszy! Po niezbyt przeze mnie wypatrywanych wznowieniach płyt takich zespołów jak Witch czy Necrophobic przyszła kolej na prawdziwie mocarny album – przed Wami słupskie Mortify.

Panowie działali w pierwszej połowie lat dziewięćdziesiątych i pozostawili po sobie zaledwie dwa materiały – obydwa znajdziecie na niniejszej kompilacji. Zacznijmy trochę na odwrót, od demo „The Calm Beyond”. Oryginalnie wydane w 1993 roku, składające się z siedmiu kompozycji. Cechuje je typowa MOKowska produkcja z tamtych lat, ponadto chyba taśma, z której odzyskiwano te nagrania nie była już najlepszej jakości bo nawet i na kompakcie słyszymy lekkie różnice w brzmieniu, gdzieś tam zafaluje dźwięk… I bardzo dobrze. To jest metal, a konkretnie death metal. Na tym materiale jeszcze noszący ślady inspiracji Skandynawią, Holandią (szczególnie Pestilence czy Gorefest). Mamy tutaj trochę zwolnień, ale większość to
