Wygnanie Davida Wayne’a z Metal Church zaowocowało dość ciekawym zjawiskiem, sprawiając, że nie dość, że sam Metal Church nadal dostarczał wysokiej klasy wydawnictwa, to i nowa kapela Davida Wayne’a montowała godny materiał. Powstała ona na gruzach Heretic i zadebiutowała w 1990 roku albumem “World Won’t Miss You”. Wkrótce po premierze tej płyty nastąpiły pewne zawirowanie w składzie kapeli, które sprawiły, że z pierwotnego zestawu został tylko David Wayne oraz gitarzysta Brian Korban. Wkrótce dołączyli do nich perkusista Jason Rosenfeld oraz basista Angelo Espino, z którym dwadzieścia lat później Brian Korban będzie reaktywował swoją starą kapelę Heretic. Ten skład został także wzmocniony w studio przy okazji pracy nad drugim albumem przez Tommy’ego “V” Verdoncka i jego nietuzinkowe solówki. Efektem sesji nagraniowej był mocarny cios w postaci “Play God”.

Czego można się spodziewać po solowej płycie gitarzysty Bon Jovi? Elektryzujących gitarowych popisów, pokręconego freestyle'u czy może jednak kontynuacji stylu kojarzonego z grupą z New Jersey? A jak Richie Sambora spisze się jako wokalista? Sam początek płyty nie odpowiada jeszcze na te pytania. Witają nas bowiem transowe partie gitary i wtórujący im śpiew, ale kompozycja Rest in Peace stanowi w zasadzie tylko wstęp do albumu.

W dalszej części robi się bardzo bluesowo. Utwory są czasem spokojne i kołyszące, a czasem bardziej energetyczne, wzbogacone ładunkiem rockowej werwy. Podobać się mogą zwłaszcza te pierwsze, czyli przede wszystkim tytułowy Stranger in This Town, a także The Bluesman (w którym gitarę obsługuje sam Eric Clapton), jednak perełką na albumie jest Ballad of Youth, z przebojową melodią i radosną partią gitary prowadzącej.

Gregory to nowy projekt spacesynth kompozytora z Grecji o nazwisku Grigoris Panagiotidis. Autor jest wielkim fanem projektów KOTO i Proxyon, a także Laserdance i Rygar. Jak przyznaje sam Grigoris, największy wpływ na jego twórczość miała mieszanka KOTO i Laserdance. Być może słyszeliście już jedną z prac autora na temat kolekcji Space Holidays Vol.12, ale teraz Grigoris wydaje swój debiutancki album „Unknown Universe”, który zawiera 9 kompozycji. Autor dedykuje ten album swojej rodzinie, która inspirowała go i motywowała w całym procesie twórczym.
