Pełen paradoksów album Milesa Davisa, a właściwie Milesa Davisa i Gila Evansa (o tym za chwilę), niedawno powrócił na talerz mojego gramofonu i gości na nim całkiem często. Przyczyna jest dość prozaiczna – na parę lat zaginął w czeluści doskonałego zestawu „The Complete Columbia Studio Recordings”, wydanego w pierwotnej wersji w pudełku z masywnym metalowm grzbietem. Jeśli znajdziecie gdzieś to wydanie – kupujcie natychmiast, choć z pewnością część zawartej tam muzyki zgubicie na wieki. Jeśli podczas przeglądania półek z płytami nie trafia się na znane okładki, płyty giną na jakiś czas. U mnie tak zdarza się często, mimo tego, skuszony dodatkami w postaci niepublikowanych wersji alternatywnych i doskonałym opracowaniem dyskograficznym, często takie wydania kupuję.

Geezer Butler, założyciel Black Sabbath, przedstawia cały swój solowy dorobek, w postaci trzech wydanych dotąd płyt wraz z bonusowym krążkiem składającym się z niepublikowanych dotąd nagrań.

Na "Plastic Plant" (1995) z udziałem Burtona C. Bella z Fear Factory dominował klasyczny metal lat 90. Zestaw "Black Science" (1997) to wysokooktanowy, mocarny groove, industrialne wpływy oraz produkcja produkcja Paula Northfielda (Rush, Alice Cooper, Suicidal Tendencies, Dream Theater). Natomiast "Ohmwork" (2005) stanowi odzwierciedlenie ówczesnych trendów w ciężkiej muzyce - od czysto metalowego "Aural Sects" po epickie, neopsychodeliczne "I Belive".
